Biography
D Drive began rocking the Northeast in 2004 when guitarist Don Mancuso (Lou Gramm Band, Black Sheep, Cheater) put together his second solo recording effort after finishing tracks for singer Phil Naro’s (Talas, Peter Criss & 24K) “Glass Mountain” project. Mancuso and Naro joined forces to write the first self-titled D Drive album. Long time friend Lou Gramm (LGB, Foreigner, Black Sheep) heard the demos for the debut D Drive CD, and asked if he could come in as guest vocalist and co-writer, and they obliged! Canadian producer Steve Major rounded out the direction and production. Released in 2005, the first debut CD received critical acclaim and air play in the US, Australia, and Europe.

The band’s signature sound blends strong classic rock roots with a modern edge sound all its own. The debut CD did so well that Mancuso and Naro decided to put together the band’s second release in 2007 entitled "Straight Up The Middle." The new album also received accolades from a rapidly growing legion of D Drive fans, and is in its second pressing. D Drive released a video in
the summer '08 for the track “Pray for Tomorrow”.

With a killer lineup, two successful releases, and a steady stream of live dates. D Drive was ready to unleash 3D the long awaited follow up to “Straight Up The Middle” (2007) 3D was released in June of 2010 fans and critics alike agree it was worth the wait.3D has been well received by both fans and media alike around the world. 3D has great significance as well, not only as D DRIVE's
3rd release but the CD is also housed in a special edition 3D package with state of the art artwork and includes a pair of 3D Glasses.
3D also features long time friend Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big, Talas, David Lee Roth) on single Dig Down.

Soon after the release of 3D, D Drive announced the addition of singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer Mike Gladstone (Uncle Plum) as the newest member to the D Drive family. There is no slowing down for the band as the guys continue to showcase their brand of rock ‘n’ roll live. D Drive have already started writing new material for their next release.
